In the last three days the Chancellor has presented the economic Crisis in a Way Which is deliberately calculated to inflame class feeling, to rouse the suburbs against the cities, the middle class against the working class.

My Lords, I repeat that we dealt with this sudden Crisis in a Way Which restored normality within a reasonable period.
