This was supposed to be connected with the Crisis of a Year ago, but a week or two ago the Chancellor said in Sheffield that the whale situation had changed, that the outlook was much better, that the £ was strong and that the prospect was good.
They wanted to avoid a sudden upsurge in the rate followed by a corresponding fall and a repetition of the Crisis of a Year ago.
If so, will we not end up with exactly the same Crisis in a Year's time?
Given that sunset clause, let us hope we can all build a secure future in Northern Ireland so that we do not find ourselves in yet another Crisis in a Year's time.
