It seems that there was no summit discussion of the worsening Crisis in Burma.
May we please have a debate on the Floor of the House on the continuing Crisis in Burma, given that Burma Campaign UK will next week publish its annual dirty list of companies that, by trading with or investing in Burma, are propping up the brutal military dictatorship there, and that Britain is the second largest investor?

My Lords, what plans have Her Majesty's Government to respond to the humanitarian Crisis in Burma and, in particular, to provide financial help and support generally on the border to the many displaced people?
In response to the Crisis in Burma, the Prime Minister said at the Labour party conference that "the age of impunity in neglecting and over-riding human rights is over".
It is also vital that we do not lose sight of the ongoing humanitarian Crisis in Burma, which has disappeared from the headlines but remains a very real issue.
Not that long ago in this Chamber we discussed the Crisis in Burma.
May we please have a debate next week in Government time on the continuing Crisis in Burma?
Considering that catalogue of horrors, it is time for the international community to take urgent action to address the political and humanitarian Crisis in Burma.
I also pay tribute to the Minister and the Government for their work and the steps they have taken in recent years to respond to the growing Crisis in Burma.
The petition states: The Petition of Mr Ali and residents of Coldhurst, Declares that the Petitioners believe that as a result of a recent attack on the Rohingya ethnic minority in June 2012 there is now a humanitarian Crisis in Burma and that more than 90,000 Rohingya have been displaced; further that the Petitioners believe that since 1962 no Rohingya have been issued with birth certificates which renders them aliens to their own country and means they have no citizen's rights and that innocent civilians are being targeted because of their ethnic background; further that the Petitioners believe that this is a modern ethnic cleansing and that it has been described as such by many independent journalists and NGOs and that the Rohingya require relief and aid.
That is one of the reasons why Britain is admired by many countries across the world for its genuine freedom, but we cannot be complacent here and we have to be on our guard against the rise of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia as we stand up against religious and other persecution across the world, whether it be of Christians, of those who are lesbian, gay, transgender or bisexual, or of the Rohingya who have been affected by the recent Crisis in Burma.
