If they do not give those powers and support positive initiatives of this kind while intervening negatively in response to economic and social Crisis in the Inner City Areas, they should not be surprised if the reaction to the slump syndrome in this country, to which they by their own policies have contributed so greatly, is the aggravation of grave social tension in the country as a whole.
