As to the civil service remuneration, there can be no great objection to that, but if there was an abatement of ministerial salaries, due to some Crisis in Ministerial Opinions, how is that the concern of this Committee and why should we be called upon to reimburse a right hon. Gentleman for some crisis in his mind which does not appear to have greatly affected his pocket?
