Does the hon. Gentleman agree that one industry in Scotland for which we have tried a number of radical Socialist initiatives is shipbuilding, and that we are facing an acute Crisis in That Industry?
The replacement of the "Atlantic Conveyor" will mean 25,000 tonnes of steel being produced by steel workers in this country at a time of Crisis in That Industry.
In view of the statement that the right hon. Lady has just made about the steel industry, and in view of the mounting Crisis in That Industry, even if the agreement with the EEC forms the basis for a settlement with the United States, will it not still cause a big injury to the British steel industry?
However, I do not know whether his proposals will be sufficient to address the Crisis in That Industry.

Following on from the point made by my hon. Friendthe Member for South Ribble (Mr. Borrow), I point out that the Minister failed to mention the van and truck industry and the shadow Secretary of State failed to mention the Crisis in That Industry.
As a country that has a large financial services sector that goes back decades, of course we are particularly affected by a Crisis in That Industry.
