and, although it would have been fascinating to draw the hon. Member for Barnstaple, (Sir B. Peto) and the hon. and gallant Member for Bournemouth (Sir H. Croft) into the tariff by-path, quite obviously what we are dealing with to-day is the Crisis in the Heavy Industries.

To me, the gravest aspect is the fact that we are faced with almost a period of Crisis in the Heavy Industries in Scotland, particularly in shipbuilding and engineering in my division.
