I have been waiting patiently for some recognition from the hon. andlearned Gentleman that there is a Crisis in the Legal Aid System and that public confidence in the legal aid system should be restored as a priority.

Is he aware that there is a growing Crisis in the Legal Aid System, whether or not he agrees with that assertion, in particular as regards the civil legal aid arrangements?

I believe that we are facing a Crisis in the Legal Aid System.
