They must make up for the negligence and indifference of their predecessors in office, and when I say that, I do not refer to any specific party or any particular Government; but if the precision and quickness of dispatch which were shown by the Minister of Agriculture in dealing with the Crisis in the Meat Industry a Few Weeks ago are any sample of the attitude which he is prepared to adopt throughout his term of office, we in the agricultural districts may be truly proud of our representative in the Cabinet.
