And when the right hon. Gentleman at the head of the Government comes forward and announces this novel policy we are led to inquire when he first gave his adhesion to it as the true mode of adjusting our ecclesiastical arrangements; and I find that in 1845 the right hon. Gentleman delivered a remarkable speech with reference to the Maynooth Grant, to which the right hon. Gentleman, in his Autobiography has referred back as the Crisis of His Political Opinions and the Exposition of the change in them.
