I beg to move,That this House deplores the failure of the Government to develop regional economic and planning policies, which would give adequate support to local authorities trying to contain unrestrained development in the South East and to deal with the effects of under-investment in the social and economic infrastructure throughout the country, and which would address the growing Crisis of House Price Inflation and the Shortage of low cost housing for rent or sale.
