Dr. Cable: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assessment he has made of the impact of the East and South-East Asian Financial and Economic Crisis on British GDP growth in 1997–98, 1998–99 and 1999–2000 and on the volumes of United Kingdom exports and imports in those years.
