Mr. LANSBURY: Does the hon. and learned Member maintain that the Communists in this country would be allowed to raise an army and drill it, bring ammunition from abroad, as Carson did, in order to prepare for an Eventual Crisis when it might be necessary to use that force?
The hon. Member for Chesterfield was quite right in the warning he gave as to what might be the Eventual Crisis.
At a time when it seems as if the economy is set to expand, there is a desperately poor export performance, which promises an Eventual Crisis.
