The provision of more houses in the mining areas was one of the incentives which the Government said they would adopt in order to get more coal, and I do not see why the same argument should not be applicable to the rural areas in view of the approaching Crisis in Food Production.

They have been thinking about the Food Production Crisis, and they take the view that bold steps are necessary.

If a loss of 14,000 sheep can be taken lightly by the Government in our present Crisis of Food Production, I am very sorry for them.
