I hope that the situation has been managed over the past five or six months in a way that copes with the present pressures on prisons, as well as with the Foreign National Prisoner Crisis.

My right hon. Friend the Home Secretary was clear about the seven or eight key failings in the criminal justice system that resulted in the Crisis of Foreign National Prisoners not being considered for deportation appropriately last year.
