Whatever one's feelings may be about the facts of a Possible Future Energy Crisis, it is clear that this area needs some movement towards a peace settlement.
Yet, as I have already said, other countries, such as the United States, France, Germany and Sweden, have seen the necessity of spending and investing to attain a level of conservation as an insurance for the future so that they may face a Future Energy Crisis.
Does the Secretary of State believe that in the event of a Future Energy Crisis, Britain - at the western end of a gas pipeline that passes alongside Russia's biggest gas customer, Germany - could rely on that source of supply?
