One would think that any Government faced with a House Building Crisis would want to exploit these advantages to the hilt, and wouldurge direct labour departments to build and build and build again; but not this Government.

They will be hit more and more heavily by mortgage problems, and the House Building Crisis itself will never be solved.

Of course, I am aware of the Crisis in House Building, which was precipitated by the appalling economic circumstances which we inherited.
