The Prime Minister and his colleagues seemed to be assured that, haying survived the most acute phase of an Industrial and Commercial Crisis which fell upon this country and upon all others a few years ago, we could now proceed with defensive preparations until the next economic blizzard strikes us with greater force and with more devastating effects.
