Mr. Campbell-Savours asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what instructions or advice was given to the British embassy and British officials in Iran as to the reception and acceptance of, and offers of help to, United States citizens immediately before, during and after the Iranian Hostage Crisis.
