At times of Local Crisis it leads people to think that something urgent is being done.

First, when a Local Crisis occurs, such as that at Inverurie, more consideration should be given, and more action taken, by the Government.

The CQC recommends that representatives of Local Crisis care concordat groups ensure: first, that all ways into crisis care are focused on providing accessible and available support; secondly, that commissioners are to be help to account; and thirdly, that they should engage with partners to encourage innovation.

By using that report and encouraging Local Crisis care concordat teams, we hope to address that variation.
