However, when a large number of office blocks are converted into housing, with the developer making no contribution whatsoever to resolving the Local Housing Crisis, it is time for regulation and for the local authority to have a say in the matter.

My comments today deal with a particular problem that arises with the availability of affordable housing in the Lake District, where a voluntary organisation, the Keswick Community Housing Trust, part of the National Community Land Trust Network, is struggling to deal with a Local Housing Crisis.
