It has endorsed a statement signed by 50 leading women's and human rights organisations, including Many Rape Crisis centres and organisations that deal with victims of rape.

It was a great shame that under the hon. Lady's Government, the last Labour Government, so Many Rape Crisis centres had to shut because of funding problems.
