Let me deal with the Crisis of Palestine in three parts.
The present Crisis in Palestine is not something which has newly happened.

Member for Wrexham about having British forces in the area:The withdrawal of British troops from the Eastern Mediterranean, coinciding as it did with the climax of the Palestine Crisis and the rioting in Egypt, left the Middle East dangerously open to a Russian advance.
Because those bombers are more specifically motivated and of a different ilk from those who carried out the 11th September outrage, the Crisis in Palestine cannot be looked on simply as an integral part or an extension of the wider war against terrorism.
What steps she is taking to tackle the humanitarian Crisis in Palestine.
But is there not a need for a wider foreign affairs debate, dealing with not only what is now acknowledged by the Secretary of State for Defence as a prospective civil war in Iraq and the continuing situation in Afghanistan, but also the Crisis in Palestine?
I am quite sure that the Foreign Secretary contributed positively to that statement, but statements cannot address the Crisis in Palestine.
