In each case the country was faced with a Prospective Crisis, which could easily have been foreseen, and which ought to have been dealt with in time.

It is for Mr. Justice Finer and his Royal Commission to report urgently on any particular case or, as I said, for the Government or those within the industry to act in the face of Any Prospective Crisis.

She knows, having served on the Select Committee on Energy and Climate Change, the reasons why it is crucial, when we face a Prospective Crisis in generating capacity, to get investment in that capacity.
