I am certain that all the problems that I have highlighted are connected with one main underlying cause; namely, the Crisis in Teacher Retention, which we have discussed and which was mentioned in the Statement.

My Lords, as most noble Lords have said, there is a Crisis of Teacher Retention in our schools.
