There may be those who argue, that we ought to have husbanded our resources; but if the ministers of the Crown who directed the national strength at That Awful Crisis, instead of stimulating the energies of the country, had deemed it expedient to "husband its resources," they would only have served as a fund to decorate the grave of the liberties of the people of England.
