The recent Crisis in Bank Lending has shown how fragile is the present position.

There were concerns about the Bank Lending Crisis, and a great deal of scepticism that the efforts of the Government's latest banking rescue packages would feed down to member firms.

Having said that, the Secretary of State has also been part of the problem, ably accompanied by the new Minister for Housing and the BIs team: they have pushed us towards a Bank Lending Crisis.
