My hon. Friendthe Member for Wigan (Lisa Nandy) spoke about the massive impact the Government's cuts to care services have had on A and E, but there is also a huge Crisis in General Practice.

Many local initiatives are trying to deal with the Crisis in General Practice and gaining access to GPs, or certainly to mitigate the effect.

Only by addressing the Crisis in General Practice in addition to social care can the Government begin to relieve the pressures on A&E departments.
