In view of our involvement in the Crisis in Nigeria - and the degree of that involvement has been spelt out by several hon. Members - it seems to me clear that we have a right and a responsibility to discuss the issue in the House if we so wish.

May we have a debate on the Crisis in Nigeria, and on protecting those innocent children?

Last week, I had a meeting with the Us Secretary of State to co-ordinate our response to the Crisis in Nigeria with the United States, and I expect to visit Nigeria with him after the Nigerian elections.
