I therefore conclude my brief remarks by appealing to my colleagues and friends in the Government, at this very late hour in the Crisis of the British Aircraft Industry, to open their eyes to the very real danger in the present situation.

Does the Minister agree that there is a Crisis in the British Aircraft Industry and that the ordering of the A320 is essential to maintain that industry at a reasonable level?
