The Scottish Farmer, in a lengthy article in its issue of 30th June, under the heading, "Calamity Faces Early Potato Growers - Cyprus Imports Kill Market", states,We move from one Potato Crisis to another.

Members on this side agree with orderly marketing, but, whether the Minister likes it or not, there is a Potato Crisis.

Every hon. Member here has had a circular from the National Federation of Fish Friers about the Potato Crisis, the circular dated 2nd April, 1962.
